SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Senior Science and Technology Analyst for a contingent opportunity in San Diego, CA. This S&T Analyst will support Programs of Record (PORs) and projects in the creation of tools, techniques, and work products that support current development activities and evaluate potential next-generation tools and products.

Job Location: San Diego, CA

Specific Duties:

  • Provide technical liaison support of science and technology efforts being developed across DOD, Interagency, Coalition, and the Enterprise Architecture.
  • Support Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs) and Advanced Component Development and Prototype (ACD&P) efforts.
  • Prepare or update the Technology Readiness Assessments (TRA) for assigned programs and projects. Generate, update, revise, review, and consolidate technical documentation, diagrams, graphs, charts, tables, and data necessary to submit the TRA for program review and obtain TRA approval in time to support the schedules outlined in the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Report on the feasibility of a quick migration or deployment of the technologies ahead of the normal POR cycle.
  • Support development of Technology Transfer Programs (TTPs). Develop usable "living" Technology Roadmaps to identify technologies to be developed to enhance DOD, Interagency, and Coalition systems.
  • Analyze the results of testing and/or demonstrations of available or near-term technologies.
  • Analyze and review technical submissions, initiate alignment of efforts to the POR, and develop test procedures in support of technical paper development for initiating new research and development efforts.

Travel: May be required to travel up to 20% Continental United States (CONUS).

General Experience:

BS/10 years.  AA/12 years

Minimum Required Education and Specialized Experience:

6 Years with Bachelors; 8 Years with Associates or Professional Certificate. 3 years of experience in the following: planning and analyzing technology development and technology initiatives; development and administration of Technology Readiness Assessments (TRA) and/or Technology Transition Agreements (TTA); working with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and related technology development agencies across the Department of Defense (DOD); analyzing science and technology initiatives, projects, and technology development efforts for DOD acquisition programs; developing science and technology transition strategies for acquisition program; demonstrated senior-level interpersonal and oral/written communication skills in presenting information to senior leaders. Prefer at least 3 years of experience in: planning and analyzing technology development and technology initiatives projects in the areas of Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) defense software systems and applications; development and administration of Technology Readiness Assessments (TRAs) and Technology Transition Agreements (TTAs) for CBRN products; developing science and technology transition strategies for CBRN acquisition programs. Prefer 2 years of experience working with Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological & Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND) programs.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
