Position Summary: SURVICE Engineering is seeking a Vulnerability/Lethality Analyst/Engineer to provide support to our Army customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.  They will use AJEM/MUVES to run vulnerability/lethality analyses on targets to assess interaction with weapon effects.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Looking for candidates with experience in constructing model inputs, processing, and post-processing lethality/vulnerability analyses using AJEM/MUVES for ground, air, and/or maritime military systems. Will error check and provide quality control of inputs and BRL-CAD target models. Will analyze threats including fragmentation and blast damage mechanisms.  Will compile briefings, reports, and other documentation on lethality/vulnerability analysis results.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Three to five years of experience (5+ years) is desired


Knowledge Requirements:

  • Must have proficiency in using AJEM/MUVES
  • Experience in error checking and quality control of inputs and CAD target models.
  • Experience with JTCG/ME processes/tools (e.g., FIRST) is desired.
  • Experience with compilation of briefings, reports, and other documentation for lethality/vulnerability analyses.
  • Experience in analysis of threats including fragmentation and blast damage mechanisms is desired.
  • Ability to work out problems, understand model outputs, and what they mean in a broader context.
  • Experience with mechanical and/or automotive systems to assist in the understanding of vehicle failure modes.

Security clearance requirement: U.S. DoD Security Clearance with a reinvestigation within the last 5 years
