Position Summary
SURVICE is currently seeking an Information Assurance Analyst / Linux Administrator to manage organizational information and network systems including: assessment, development, implementation, management, maintenance, administration, and security for local area networks (LANs) and information technology services. Also, develop and maintain classified network systems. This work will be performed at Wright Patterson AFB located in Dayton, OH.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop documentation to certify unclassified and classified network systems
  • Ensure continuous client support
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement short and long-term strategies, reliable and secure operations, hardware and software automation infrastructure, and life-cycle management of all system resources
  • Collaborate with government, military, and civilian agencies to plan and facilitate Information Management (IM) requirements
  • Sustain custom application programs and client/server-based simulation systems
  • Maintain application or web-based database servers
  • Implement network and client system computer security measures (e.g. ISSM and/or Air Force Computer Emergency
  • Response Team mandatory compliance notices)
  • Develop and design scripts and utilities to assist organizations with the development, deployment and utilization of automation tools for account management and system installation, decommission and restoration Perform user account management activities such as verification, validation, and creation of user accounts and user groups
  • Create, modify, and manage group policy that assist the ISSM with compliance activities related to system configuration
  • Perform scanning activities to discover and mitigate vulnerabilities

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is required along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in systems administration and Information Assurance / Cybersecurity required.
Active DoD top Secret clearance required, with SAP/SAR clearance eligibility

  • Prior SAP/SAR experience desired. Background investigation must be current within 5 years; interim or outdated investigations are not acceptable
  • Network operations certification as outlined in DoD 8570.01M (i.e. Security +, A+, etc.) required
  • LINUX systems administration experience required
  • Supercomputer experience desired
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
