Position Summary:

SURVICE Engineering seeks an EMC/EMI Engineer to support our Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office (AFSEO) Modeling, Analysis, and Tools (SEMATS) contract at Eglin Air Force Base.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

The EMI/EMC Engineer shall support the AFSEO Evaluate Compatibility and Technical Advice process by preparing and assisting in testing and collecting EMC/EMI test results, analyzing EMC/EMI test results, preparing test reports for assigned EMC/EMI test programs, conducting EMC/EMI studies and analyses, and using Computational Electromagnetics Modeling and Simulation in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering required, and Ph.D. desired, along with eight (8) years of general experience, and five (5) years specific required. Must also have a minimum of five years experience with Computational Electromagnetics (CEM).

  • Experience in electrical engineering, EMC/EMI test and analysis, or related aircraft and/or store development, modeling and simulation and test and evaluation fields, with EMC computer-based analysis tools, word processing, and technical writing
  • Have experience supporting and performing store/aircraft EMC/EMI testing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Very good attention to detail--someone who takes ownership and pride in all work
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as with a team
  • Travel may be up to 20%

  • Per contract requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen and have a current active DoD clearance.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Relocation assistance may be available.
