Position
Software Developer

Location: Ft. Walton Beach, FL

Position Summary
SURVICE is currently seeking a Software Developer to support our Department of Defense customer at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, FL. The Software Developer will design, develop, test, and implement a variety of applications in support of program requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with the development, security, and QA teams to implement, administer, automate, secure, and document DevSecOps pipelines to enable Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Delivery (CD) and Continuous Deployment of mission applications
  • Design and develop software applications using C# and C++, Java Script, SQL with Visual Studio
  • Utilize Microsoft .NET (Including WPF, Blazor WebAssembly, Razor pages, Entity Framework, ASP.Net, ASP.Net CORE) to make features
  • Build Docker images and work within container environments
  • Perform necessary security monitoring, log analysis, and collecting performance metrics for continuous monitoring and improvement
  • Utilize MS Azure DevOps with GitFlow & Pull Request process for feature branch configuration management

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field of study required and 3+ years of software development experience preferred.

Desired Experience

  • Knowledge of CI/CD Pipeline technologies and processes in an Agile Software Development environment
  • Expertise with container technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proven experience with CI/CD tools, such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins
  • Programing language knowledge desired: C# and/or C++, Java Script, SQL, YAML, IaC
  • Visual Studio (multiple versions)
  • Microsoft .Net (cross platform)
  • Windows Presentation Foundation
  • Entity Framework
  • ASP.Net & ASP.Net Core
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity controls and the integration of security in the DevSecOps pipeline, including static code scans
  • Detailed, hands-on experience with cloud resources and services such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with a diverse range of cloud monitoring and management tools
  • Knowledge of how to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test and production environments
  • Productive in an agile team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and a strong drive to learn

Desired Certifications

  • CompTIA Security+ Certificate or other DoD-approved 8570 IAT Level II Baseline Certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (or equivalent)
